I've created a Search Provider option for the IE 7 search tool.

Forum

I just added a Forum to the site. There are some minor visual problems, like buttons, but signing up, posting, replying, etc. should be working.

Poll and Search (update)

The poll is up and running again, including comments for all the upcoming polls. Another small update was made for the search-engine. The search-results are now showing an image of the found characters, for easier identification.

An 'advanced'-search will be online soon, making it possible to search on characteristics of the heroes/ villains, for example; hair color, eye color, superpower, weight, etc. So if you've seen a heroes but don't know his/her name, the advanced-search should help you.

'All-Mighty' score

The next large update will be the 'All-Mighty' heroscore, wich I'm working on right now. This score will be created from many different factors, like: strength, intelligence, speed, etc. Besides that, I want to give all superpowers a score. This score will also be used in the calculation for the All-Mighty score. This way, a superhero with only one superpower, let's say Time-Travel, could still be mightier than a superhero with three superpowers.
The result of the calculation should be a number between 1 and 12. The whole idea behind this is, that you can compare heroes from different publishers.

Up and Running!

Finally I got SuperheroDB.com up and running again. I've found a great hosting company with a lot of options and flexibility. As I write this I'm still uploading some minor changes.

I got rid of the 'clean' URL's, because it takes to much time to get them perfect. And they won't give much better user-experience.
I also removed the previous Gallery script, and wrote one of my own. It still needs some tweaking, but it works for now.

The biggest change is the back-end part, wich holds a nice CMS, also written by my hand. This way I should be able to update the site more often and add more Characters quicker.

For now, just have fun with the website.
